  1. Hi! I just found your blog and am excited to see another OCC blog. I've added your blog to my list of OCC blogs on my blog: Simply Shoe Boxes.

I love your collection center. We collect in AWANA each fall. I took cartons from printer paper and wrapped the top and bottom separately to look like a giant shoe box. Oh, but first I cut a large hole in the top leaving about 3 inches around each side so the items could be dropped in the hole--like packing a shoe box.

How did you make the large graphic for the top?

    1. Thank you for adding my blog. I appreciate it so much! I love to get the word out about shoeboxes!
For the top logo, I used an overhead projector to trace the outline of the logo onto a large piece of cardboard and then hand painted it and cut it out with an exacto knife. It took about 9 hours or a little mor from start to finish, but totally worth it!! I hope to be able to use it for a long time!

  2. LOL, I have been at your blog before--I just didn't remember for sure. Anyways, I had forgotten to bookmark it or add it to my OCC list at my blog so I forgot I had been here. Nothing wrong with my mind. :-)
